1999-2000 - Corporate Parties; Client: Wal-Mart
We had The Solid Rock Sound Machine do several of the events for the Topeka Wal*Mart I worked for. (summer picnics and Christmas parties) They worked with the planning and helped make the events a success! At one of the Christmas parties we had an auction for items donated from Wal*Mart and as the items were described, they used TV Themes and Game Show Themes as a music background as people came to get their "fabulous prizes". Andrew, You were such a large part of the reunion, not just because you were the DJ of the hour but because you were there. Saying thank you doesn't seem quite enough. I want you to know that having you there with other friends of mine "made" my weekend reunion very special. Without you it just wouldn't have seemed right. Thank you, Steve B. When planning our wedding there were so many details to take care of. Drew and Karen of the Solid Rock Sound Machine made the entertainment a breeze. We met with them and selected the type of music we wanted. They took into account our likes and dislikes. They went the extra mile to ensure a party that we would be pleased with. To The Solid Rock Sound Machine, Just a quick note to let you know that we are sorry we didn't book you after we balked at the price. We had a friend of ours who claimed he was a DJ do our reception, and to say it wasn't what we expected is an understatement. There was no organization, or planning that went into the evening and we had an awful time! To those who balk at the price of a PROFESSIONAL DJ...Pay It!
