Wedding / Reception October 2016
From the mother of the groom - Chalise
"This is (drum roll please!!!) THE SOLID ROCK SOUND MACHINE!!! FYI, the BEST DJ team around! No joke! Love, love, love these guys! This is the second event we've hired them for and I've watched their genius in other events like Relay for Life Shawnee County, the Breast Cancer Walk, MS walk, my kids high school dances etc. If you are looking for an amazingly talented, fun and professional DJ for your special event, give this crew a call.
"The Solid Rock Sound Machine has been at several events I have attended over the last few years, and I have always been very impressed with their services. They maintain a very professional and fun environment, while providing the music to fit any occasion. I recommend their services for any event you may have that you may need them at." Shannon E.
What People Are Saying
"To The Solid Rock Sound Machine, Just a quick note to let you know that we are sorry we didn't book you after we balked at the price. We had a friend of ours who claimed he was a DJ do our reception, and to say it wasn't what we expected is an understatement. There was no organization, or planning that went into the evening and we had an awful time! To those who balk at the price of a PROFESSIONAL DJ...Pay It! Andrew and Karen are Pros and they know what they are doing." Jason (Last Name Witheld By Request)
Thank You both for celebrating our wedding day with us and for making our day perfect! From beginning to end, you made everything so easy. AND when it all hit the fan from our end , you pulled through 1000%. You knew how important music was to us an played everything perfectly. Thank you so much for playing such a big role I making our day more perfect than we could have imagined! Lots of Love , Tyler and Stephani
Karl H. Fruendt: If you are looking for a great celebration, Solid Rock Sound Machine with Andrew Walker and his wife Karen is the mobile entertainment company for you! They've provided excellent sound for Topeka's Huff 'n Puff balloon rally for years and keep the crowd entertained. They also were the DJs at our wedding reception at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in 2010 and my 50th birthday party in our back yard in 2015. They are consummate professionals who will help you design a party to remember!
Wedding /Reception October 2016:
From the uncle of the groom - Ed
"Watching many, many receptions, parties, and DJ-worthy occasions, I've learned to appreciate the profession. People ask "Dude...why would you pay someone hundreds of dollars to click on a song list??!!"
"If you've ever observed an un-engaged crowd at a party, you will know how depressing it looks. I guarantee you that these guys won't be at that party because they know from decades of experience how to get the crowd engaged in the party. Non dancers will dance. Stoic old farts will smile. The right thing to say and the right song to play is a chemistry and equation that many can't crack, but Drew and Karen are the mad scientists with all the answers and know how to keep the ball rolling."
Junction City Class of 1978
"Andrew, You were such a large part of the reunion, not just because you were the DJ of the hour but because you were there. Saying thank you doesn't seem quite enough. I want you to know that having you there with other friends of mine "made" my weekend reunion very special. Without you it just wouldn't have seemed right." Thank you, Steve B.
